Summer Turmeric-Lemon Tonic



Super refreshing and rehydrating, with anti-inflammatory and metabolism boosting benefits too? Yes please!


You can serve this as a hot beverage too, but in the cooler months, nothing beats it with room temperature or colder water.


It's also a great for replenishing electrolytes and getting your daily dose turmeric.


Recipe

- 1 lemon juiced

- 32 oz water

- 2 TB honey

- Pinch of Himalayan pink salt or sea salt

- pinch of black pepper (to activate the turmeric)

- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric (can use fresh grated too!)

mix everything together well. I like to put it in a mason jar and give it a few good shakes.
